Comparison Shots

Pictures taken with the Camera

Carrefour

Emirates towers

Notice how the whole image appears grainy (less that its predecessors though).

The camera is capable of taking excellent quality pictures when there is ample light. Night shots in certain surroundings also come out well. Macro mode is also capable of taking good-quality shots as seen in the images below:

Conclusion

The JAMin has a lot going for it and in a way it’s almost complete. Unfortunately, the only thing that can pull it down from claiming the crown is its relatively slow processor. Compared to the JAM, all I can says it that its 3 steps forward and one step backward.

Pro’s

  • WM5

  • Quad-band

  • EDGE

  • Best camera on a PDA till date (2.0 Megapixel with Macro mode)

  • Amazing form-factor

  • Easy one-handed use (thanks to soft-key support)

Cons’

  • Slow processor

  • 2.5mm Jack

  • Lack of UMTS

  • USB v.1.1

  • Low volume on speaker’s

To answer my own question i.e. whether the JAMin will re-create history or not, only time will tell Smile

Over and out!
